Profile Cutting

Flame profile or ‘oxyfuel’ cutting using oxygen and acetylene is a cost-efficient method of cutting ferrous metals that has been used extensively at Fairdeal Fabrications since the company’s inception.

The very nature of oxyfuel cutting means its successful use is heavily reliant on the experience and skills of the operator. Our highly skilled operators have many years’ experience delivering this great value for money option for thicker mild steel profiles that gives a cutting tolerance of +/-2mm, depending on thickness.

Our profiling department’s ultra-reliable machines can handle sheets up to 7.5 tonne and a sheet size of 5000mm x 2500mm. We also hold stock with thickness ranges of 6mm to 200mm in grades S275, S355, EN8, and up to 600mm. Other materials are also available with short lead times.

All our materials are responsibly sourced and have full traceability in accordance with BSEN 9001.

Our processes and cutting machines have kept up with current technology and can be programmed by our in-house CAD department, improving both accuracy and efficiency. Profile programming can be developed from a sample, technical drawing, or even a sketch.

We are happy to process your own CAD drawings and import them into our own system in DXF, DWG and IGES formats. This is the perfect way to ensure you get exactly what you want, as it limits the potential for human error or incorrect specification during pre-production.

Our extensive stock holding of materials gives us the ability to offer a quick turnaround at competitive rates on flame cut profiles, making it easier for customers to provide desirable and timely outcomes to their own projects.
